China Checkup is operated by Checkup Group Pty. Ltd., a company registered in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

When was China Checkup established?

China Checkup was established in 2013 and are the leading provider of online English-language China verification reports.

Where are China Checkup reports processed?

Our verification reports are processed by our expert team of Chinese-speaking staff in Brisbane, Australia.

What are your office hours?

We operate from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday, except on public holidays. Brisbane's time zone is UTC+10 and our report turnaround times are based on these office hours.

Do I need to register before using your service?

No, registration is not required. Our reports can be ordered without creating an account.

Can I contribute to your blog?

We don't generally accept contributions, unless they are highly relevant to our audience and of a very good standard. Please get in touch with us if this is you.

Can you help me register a company in China?

Sorry, we don't offer such a service.

I can't find the answer to my question here, what should I do?

Just send an email to info@chinacheckup.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Verification FAQs

Are China Checkup's verification services confidential?

Yes, we never contact the organization directly when conducting research for our verification reports.

Can I see a sample report?

On each report's product page we provide images that give an accurate representation of the report's content and appearance.
If you still require a sample report please email us at info@chinacheckup.com using your corporate email address.

How many companies does a verification report cover?

Each of our company verification reports are on a single entity only.

Which jurisdictions do you cover?

We verify companies registered in Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Can you verify an individual?

Unfortunately not. The subject for all of our verification reports is always a company rather than an individual.

Why haven't I received my report?

We take great care to ensure that all reports are delivered on or prior to the estimated delivery date, but sometimes email spam filters prevent reports from being received, so please check your email spam folder.
If you haven't received your report by the estimated delivery date, please contact us at info@chinacheckup.com so we can urgently resolve.

Are Mainland China company financials usually available?

Unfortunately in the majority of cases, the financials for Chinese companies are not made publicly available. Where they are available it is in the following two scenarios:
1. Company chooses to make their financials publicly available in China's company registration system (we rarely encounter this, maybe just 1% of companies make this choice)
2. The company is listed on Shanghai or Shenzhen stock markets

Do you do site visits?

No, we don't conduct on-site verification, all of our reports are based solely on desktop research.

Payment FAQs

Which payment methods do you accept?

We use leading payment provider Stripe for processing card payments and can accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and more. Payment can also be made using PayPal.

I can't use credit card or PayPal, can I still order?

No problem, we also accept payment by bank transfer. Please contact us at info@chinacheckup.com to arrange.

How do you process refunds?

If you paid for your report(s) using PayPal or credit card (via Stripe) we will refund via those services. If you paid by bank transfer, you will be given credit for use on future purchases.

Can I upgrade my report?

Yes. We offer upgrades on all applicable reports and you simply need to pay the difference in cost. Contact us to arrange.

Do you charge GST?

Our prices are all inclusive of GST (tax), which means the price you see on our website is the final price you pay - there are no additional fees charged. We are an Australian company, so if you are ordering from Australia the price includes 10% GST.

Will I receive a tax invoice?

After placing an order, you will automatically receive an order confirmation email which includes payment details. If you require a formal tax invoice simply send us an email and we can quickly provide.

What currency are your services priced in?

Please note that although we are based in Australia, our services are sold in USD, and any GST displayed on our invoice is in USD (Not AUD).

Can we pay in AUD?

Our website only accepts payments in USD, so please contact us if you would like to pay in AUD and we can setup a manual order.
